Katerina was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, until she moved to Tampa, Florida, in 2016. She attended The University of Tampa, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Entrepreneurship. She obtained her law degree at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and during her time in law school, she held the position of president of the Student Bar Association and competed in many mock trial and moot court competitions. Katerina was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi, a distinction that reflects a commitment to scholastic achievement, professional ethics, and honorable achievement.

 

Throughout law school, Katerina gained experience in family law, employment law, personal injury, and wrongful death cases. However, upon gaining experience in criminal law, she realized that was her passion. After law school, Katerina began her career as an Assistant State Attorney with the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. There, she handled countless misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony cases and litigated numerous trials to jury verdicts. Through her diligent efforts and unwavering dedication, she has garnered the respect of the judges she has faced in court, as well as the appreciation of her colleagues and opposing counsel.

 

Katerina is very involved in the Greek communities around Tampa Bay and Clearwater and is fluent in Greek as well.
